vermin heart stillborn stillbeating
Here's the official spiel...
Xenon Wormwood is an author and multi-media artist from the middle of nowhere. Its work focuses on betrayal of the body, eroticizing disgust, and turning the erotic disgusting. REDACTED FOR NOW is its debut work under the name Xenon, but it also writes short stories on furaffinity, speculative fiction essays, and miles of horror porn roleplay. Currently, several creative projects are underway to be released here and elsewhere.
In its spare time, Xenon enjoys doll-collecting, reading comics, and going to the movies.
And here's the informal one:
Hey, I'm Xenon- or Atomic, or verminheart, to some- and I write about how your body can fail you at any age, the horniness of disgust, fear, and loss, and how disgusting sex can be ('disgusting' as a morally neutral term). My debut work under this self will be coming out sometime later this year, but I have several more pieces in the pipeline and I can't wait to get them out in the world.
I collect ball-jointed dolls and clown figurines, embroider catboy pillows, read dirty comics (yaoi is a favourite because I started there, but yuri, hentai, outlaw comix, etc all have a big place in my heart 💖), and love going to see movies and presentations at the old theater in town.
F.A.Q.
Do you take writing prompts/requests?
Not at this time; I write very slowly- RFN took me 6 months- and I get too stressed working on a timeline for someone else. Perhaps in the future...
Can I use/put your work in (whatever fucking AI thing)?
Nope! I will never give anyone permission to do that. If you like my work and you feed it to AI, you're doing me, the environment, and yourself a massive disservice. If you don't like my work and you feed it to AI, you're still doing the environment and yourself dirty. Knock that shit off.
But you use em dashes and weird punctuation, so aren't you using AI to 'write' your stuff?
If you think I am, I doubt I can change your mind that I'm not. But that said... I'm not. *shrug* Em dash use is not a reliable indicator someone is using predictive text models to shit out something they couldn't be bothered to write. In this case, it's because I'm a fucking nerd and I like playing with punctuation and spacing. Writing is a visual medium, too. Also, if I was using AI, wouldn't I at least be taking 'writing' commissions? Wouldn't I be putting work out at an much faster pace? (Not that those are reliable indicators, either...)
Can I draw fan art/write fan fic of your characters?
Does the Pope shit in the woods??? Of course you can!
Why do you write the content you do? It's so distasteful/Problematic/yucky/evil/etc.
It make my dick hard. Next question.
How do I get involved with something/put my work out there like you do?
To be honest? I got very lucky. Right place, right time, right group of people. If you keep your eyes open and your ears perked, you might also get very lucky... but as for just putting it out there- write it. Get it posted or printed or whatever anywhere you can that isn't predatory. I know how pithy that sounds but if you don't do it, it doesn't get done. A first draft just has to exist, yada yada yada. Keep working on it. There are places out there (like Godless Books) that will put out the Weird Thing you're doing, and someone out there is going to love it. Someone is also going to hate it. Get it done. 💞
What are you? Like what's your deal? Is your work a cope or something??
I grew up in Antarctica, with no women as role models. My 12 dads were awful to me. They put me in a dog kennel, shot me, burnt me, and dissected me, among other such travesties. I was just trying to emulate them and live up to their standards of mankind, but instead I was frozen out of the family I deserved :( And that's why I'm like this!
So you should let me in your house. It'll be fun! I'm really good at charades. :)
